Sometime around 2004, Lance Minnis, aka Jack Salt, decided to start playing music again. A sudden love for The Clancy Brothers and other folk and Irish pub music got him learning songs. From there it was but a short hop to marititime music and chanteys, and a love for the culture of the sea and lost Americana culture.
